Coaching sensitivity
If the coach talks over you, or barely talks at all, usually one setting fixes it. Open Settings, go to Coaching, and change Sensitivity.
There are five, quietest first: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, Alien. The default value is Advanced.

What it changes
Section titled “What it changes”Each level has been calibrated on real-world racers with the following targets:
- Beginner targets a performance within 10% of the best lap time in the world
- Intermediate targets a performance within 5% of the best lap time in the world
- Advanced targets a performance within 3% of the best lap time in the world
- Expert targets a performance within 2% of the best lap time in the world
- Alien targets a performance within 1% of the best lap time in the world
On Beginner you hear about your worst corners only, the ones losing you real time. Every step toward Alien lowers the bar, so smaller losses start getting a mention too. On Alien, close to everything the coach can measure is fair game.
Picking one
Section titled “Picking one”I would advise staying on Advanced (the default) for a few sessions; if you feel overwhelmed, lower the sensitivity to Intermediate or Beginner. If on the other hand you feel the coach is not talking enough, or not catching big mistakes, increase the sensitivity to Expert or Alien.
